Yu Yu Hakusho is one of my biggest influences. Didn’t watch the anime, but I read the manga from cover to cover countless times. The ending was beautiful. And I love the friendship between Hiei & Kurama. Yoshihiro Togashi is just too brilliant, I accept his inconsistency XD

While I can blame the white girl, and I definitely do, a lot of black people and PoC need to stop putting up with this, too. I know y’all are not this desperate… at least, you shouldn’t be. Like, I couldn’t imagine even continuing to date someone who didn’t care enough to say my name correctly or had taken no interest in learning about my culture, but to end up married to them? No way hunny. Like, she didn’t take any interest in his culture until AFTER they got married? I’m not saying they have to be obsessed with your culture (which is weird in another way), but no interest in a big part of who this person is never interested you until you realized, “We’re married now, guess I should learn a bit more about them and where they come from?” Just seems backwards.
