Almostvision 2

Hello from 107 Camilla! Like I did last edition of @spacerockvision, I'm deciding my song by hosting the second edition of Almostvision! Almostvision is a national final composed of songs I almost sent to contests at one point, but for whatever reason I did not. Let's see the songs and why I didn't send them:

1. The5 - "Hannini" is a song I almost sent to Tmblrvision 2018. I initially claimed Lebanon with the hope of internally selecting one song (now representing Lebanon in alternational), but realized after claiming the country that it was a hair too old, and had to frantically find an alternative while in Cuba. Eventually Bosnia & Herzegovina, one of my backups, freed up, but if it didn't, this song would have represented Lebanon in Tmblrvision 2018.

2. Sena Dagadu ft. Sarkodie - "Yo Chale" was one of my main backups in Tmblrvision 2019, when I claimed Australia. I started planning a backup national final for Hungary, and this was the song that prompted me to have Hungary as a backup. The artists are from Ghana, but Sena Dagadu lives in Hungary as an immigrant.

3. Majedalesa - "Hwages" is a song I planned on sending to Politivision, but the contest never returned.

4. Crimer - "Hours" is a song I first heard not long before Tmblrvision 2020, when I had already planned to send Yarkhushta for Armenia. I debated a lot whether I should send this instead, since I thought this would do better, but I liked Yarkhushta more.

5. Bon Entendeur ft. Isabelle Pierre - "Le Temps Est Bon" lost my national final for the French edition of languagevision after the most stubborn tie I have ever had in my entire life. So I'm giving it a second chance.

6. "OUCH!" - Nxdia is a song I was excited to include in my national final for Genrevision, both because of the Arabic lyrics and because it didn't seem as risky to send as my other options, but everynoise sorted it out of the escape room genre before national finals opened, making it ineligible...

Thanks! This will close on Wednesday, April 13 at 10:59 PM PST
