12:15am, our absolute clown of a president announced state of emergency. Our liberties have been restricted, this includes our right to go out and riot. This state lasts for 15 days. It is possible that the military force will start roaming the streets. I’m so fucking angry and a little bit scared, they’re known for being trigger happy and overall violent abusers.

This is the first time since the military dictatorship that the state of emergency has been announced over riots. Let that sink in.

CHILEAN STUDENTS FIGHTING

Chilean students (between 15-18years old) are manifesting against the subway cost.

In 4 of October the subway price rise for the third time this year, becoming the most expensive in Latin America.

"New increase in the ticket: know the new prices of the Metro and the Transantiago after changing rates Now it will cost more in rush hour and less in low hours, which extends half an hour."

The people get angry, and people began to express their annoyance for social medias. Many of the ministers of the government respond with: "If the people wake up more early then they can use de subway in the low hours and do not have to pay the new price of $830"

The subway dosen't want to stop in the stations with the riots, in a way to stop the train, people sit in the borders

This police officer throw a Lacrimógena, a bomb of smoke that make you cry and can't breath, if you have asthma you can die, is really strong, is like hell. The 50% of the police doesn't have their name in the uniform and that illegal, the police close you in the trains and throw Lagrimogenas doesn't care if you was part of the riot, they just do it, and if they catch you the law says that you are a terrorist (law anti terrorism, an a excuse to punish the people for fighting their rights) and the news, the National television call the students criminals and terrorists. The minister of education threatened to with taking away the benefit of students (a special card that makes students pay less in transportation).

The riot still going, even the moment I write this.

This is just the bomb of anger what the state cause, the electricity price increase, the water price, the education is private, the roads are private, everything and now we are going to fight.

WE, THE CHILEAN PEOPLE, ARE TIRED.

Why is no one talking about what happened in São Paulo yesterday?

The sky turned completely black around three in the afternoon partly because of smoke coming from the Amazon rainforest, WHICH IS 2300 KILOMETERS AWAY FROM THE CITY, where the government has greatly increased the amount of land being burned for profit. People are getting sick, animals are dying, native territory is being lost to the flames.

This is what the sky looked like in my city yesterday, in the early afternoon.

It got so dark so fast the city had to turn on the lamp posts and night lighting.

I know a lot of landlords are jerks but my favorite landlord ever was an older eccentric gay man and whenever something went wrong in my apartment he would always say “I’ll send one of the boys over.” And then some absolutely shredded young man would show up in white jeans, exceptionally polite, and fix it the same day.
