Oh lordy I did it again 🫣 I will try my best to recap but for real no promises. Keeping this blog has truly revealed to me how bad my memory can be 😭 I'll work backwards...
30th
📚 Read more and enjoyed the sun! Have been unmotivated recently to do my readings but today I got a good burst!
🏠 Watered plants, cleaned up plant matter and trimmed the dead rose bush branches, stored away leftover window screens, took trash bins in, cleaned litter box, fed the dog... felt good!
👯♂️ Had a lovely evening hang and dinner with my mummy.
❤️ Picked up my love! He's staying with us for the 4th of July and leaving the morning of the 5th. So happy! We also went grocery shopping briefly afterwards.
29th
📓 Held my workshop. The weather was very nice so fewer people showed up today, but still had a fair turnout and lots of fun making stickers and stuff!
👯♀️ Afterwards I got Chipotle with a friend, ate in the park, went back to my place and watched movies/shows, I crocheted, we talked, was good!
🏠 I went to a tropical summer kickoff party with my gramma at her community home. They had live music and some good food! I visited with her a little afterwards then went on my way.
👯♀️ I'm probably getting my dates mixed up, but I also Zoomed with an old professor whom I'm planning to visit at JHU later this summer with my partner! So so excited, and it was lovely to catch up with her!

📑 I had my call with my fellowship advisor.
God, I can't remember what I did after that at all...

📑 Grinding on fleshing out my fellowship outline.
📓 After I worked on my workshop materials.
I remember I was in a bad mood that day and wasn't very productive in many ways.
And that, kids, is why you need to record things everyday if you want your mission to be fulfilled!
Okay okay hold on.
You’re telling me that Derek Hale is living in Beacon Hills owning an auto shop and consulting for the sheriff and having a rebellious teenage son who loves the jeep and in the first twenty seconds of being on screen Derek says to the sheriff “Maybe you should call your son?” Like I literally paused it.
Seriously considering keeping it paused and just writing a fanfic to finish it out because this is a beautiful premise that right now is canon. I accept the first 20 minutes of this movie. The rest we can toss.
Derek : Eli did you see your eyes?

So we can all agree that Eli is the Sterek child, right?
- He keeps stealing the jeep (for reasons???)

- Does not have a mother? (Really? The writers just left us the perfect opening and thought we wouldn’t take it or something)
- Sheriff Stilinski is 100% giving tired grandpa vibes to Eli

pssft. sterek was the most obvious case of queerbait in the 2010s. shipped it or not mtv and jeff davis used the ship and the question of stiles’s sexuality as a marketing tool. more than once. which is what queerbait is.
