Baz is an amateur astronomer. (he regularly makes trips out to the darkest places in the world just to see the stars.) (he takes Simon on observatory dates.) (they hold hands during shows in the planetarium)

And here is the surprise. A picnic party in a parc for Simon's birthday

Featuring a bunch of sour cherry scones with a candle as a birthday cake

A bouquet of red roses for the rosebud boy

A bottle of ice tea, because british people drink tea and Simon too (when he is not drinking milk)

Rainbow Rowell books because if Simon was in our plane of existence, of course he would read them (just to know what Baz is thinking)

A digger toy, so that he can train for the next construction engine licence if he wants to (next year maybe he'll get a miniature plane)

Excalibur (he was coming to the party with it actually) dead useful

And a gay rainbow flag to sit on for pride month

(I enjoyed throwing Simon a birthday party a lot. My best friend and I had a good laugh over how to take pictures that would be in character. Since I'm so shit at acting and I don't like my face being photographed, she had to take quite a lot of photos before we were both satisfied. Lol ! We might do it again next year (with more characters if we can find people willing to cosplay)
