Tonight we joined a candlelight vigil in Gorgas Park for the lives lost and survivors of Charlottesville. I didn't know about what had happened until early this morning when I woke up. The thing is, it's shocking to me that this is happening. This is not my country, or not the country that I've always identified with. But here we are.
