I don’t know if I’m the only one, but sometimes I imagine TONS of G/T stuff when I look out from my window. Like a giant just walking by afar. Especially at late nights I love to imagine that a Giant might curiously look into my room. It sounds very silly, but I love those scenarios where Giants kinda kidnap you from your place ( mostly à la BFG style, just snatch you up from your room). I just like the concept of Giants at nights.

Just big scary Giants disturbing your daily life.

i just. i love. i LOVE. i l o v e the ‘giant is an asshole WHO SECRETLY CARES’ trope above all other. like.

like just, a giant who constantly pesters their tiny friend, they scoop them up without warning, they fiddle around with the tiny limbs like they’re the best fidget toy, they poke and tickle em and tease em. when its sleep time ITS SLEEP TIME bc they pin they tiny under their hand for cuddles. when they go somewhere it’s INTO THE POCKET for the tiny, no buts, if any protests the giant doesn’t hear them. constant teasing. constant toying.

but if another giant shows up and treats the tiny the same way, all hell comes out. and god forbid if the tiny gets sick, or injured, or anything like that, bc instantly their giant friendo becomes the most worrying person in existence. 

and if there’s ever a scare, like an animal nearly getting the tiny, or the tiny nearly falling off of something huge, or nearly getting crushed, that’s when the giant breaks down. just scoops the tiny into a hug and worries the heck over them and constantly flusters over them trying to make sure that their tiny is okay and not hurt and Perfectly Safe.

and the tiny either just being totally surprised at how the giant is acting, or just leaning back and smiling all smug bc “I knew you were a softie!” both are amazing

Okay but you know when a giant is trying to communicate with a frightened tiny hiding in their house?

Yeah you know that one scenario, where the giant keeps peeking at the windows with one eye, and saying “Won’t you please come out? I don’t want to hurt you- I just wanna talk!”

But the shy tiny keeps hiding, so at some point the giant sighs and goes “Okay, take your time…” sitting in front of the house.

Like, the giant could TEAR OFF the roof if he wanted, but it wouldn’t be cool to break someone’s house to force them to communicate! So the giant remains patient, and keeps saying random crap to lighten the mood and hopefully start a conversation. 

Random crap like “Ya know, it’s a pretty weather outside. A shame you ain’t seeing it.” “Your house is pretty, by the way.” “Heh, birds are annoying today, they keep bumping into me and- you know what I’m talking about? no? Okay…” “My name is ____ by the way, nice to meet you. It’d be great to know your name though.” “Please talk to me I feel stupid and lonely talking to myself. Are you even listening?”

That’s a good scenario.

For those who don’t know what’s happening in the video, she untied her shoelaces, pulled one through the inside of the zip tie binding her hands, then tied the shoelaces together. Then, by pulling downward and back and forth on the shoelaces with her feet, she created enough friction to wear away part of the ziptie, making it weak enough to snap right off her hands.
