Okay, so I’ve seen footage of Israeli settlers running for their lives into an airport. I saw a news article about air sirens at this airport being turned on. Clearly something BIG is happening with Palestinian resistance. This is the first time I’ve heard of a major, mass attack on settlers in my albeit limited lifetime. I always heard about these actions as past events.

People are saying Palestinians air glided into the Israeli settler colony. If anything I’m seeing is true, this is a pivotal moment in Palestinian resistance and even if the moment passes without further escalations on the part of the Palestinian people (there absolutely will be escalations on the Israeli side), they’ve proven that through militant action you can cut through the Israeli paper tigers. This reminds me of when that Minneapolis police precinct was seized and set on fire in 2020. The masses are realizing their collective strength, coalescing around militant, radical tactics and enacting retribution against the racist, settler colonial state.

This will leave a lasting impression on Palestinian and Israeli politics, if not global politics. All eyes on Palestine.

I’m seeing reports of dozens of IDF soldiers taken as hostages, a prison being liberated, entire towns being reconquered by the Palestinian resistance, tanks being set on fire with drones, Palestinians engaging in gunfire with the IDF in nearly two dozen separate locations, over 5000 rockets fired into Israel, and an IDF barracks being ambushed and every soldier within killed.

This is being reported as a military and intelligence failure on the part of the Israeli government, who had no indication that such a serious revolutionary advancement against the western backed settler colony of Israel was going to happen and were not prepared. They are promising retaliation through “Operation Iron Swords.” It is yet to be seen whether this will crush the resistance or embolden it.

This is obviously a very serious situation and we should be concerned by how bloody the backlash will be. But, I want to end on a positive note. Below is a picture of Palestinians seizing an Israeli bulldozer and using it to destroy the border wall between Gaza and Israel. It is one of the most beautiful images I’ve ever seen.

Regardless of what happens next, this is a serious advancement in militant struggle on the part of the Palestinian people. The cat is out of the bag now. They’ve proven they can attack the Israeli military by surprise on multiple fronts, can seize territory, and can destroy the border wall. The Palestinian people will not forget this. Neither should we. All power to the people, Palestine will be free from the river to the sea. 🇵🇸

It's genuinely disgusting to see people try to frame this as a good thing. I'll remind you all that Palestine's government has made it so that homosexuality is a crime that is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. At least Israel has it be decriminalized, and they're willing to accept same sex marriages that were performed in other nations. Granted, that isn't *great* but I'll at least be willing to consider it the bare minimum of what is acceptable. The idea that Tumblr of all websites would somehow end up supporting a nation that wants to wipe all LGBT people off the face of existence is nothing less than baffling to me.

Palestine has been free of British control for over 70 years now, and they could have repealed that law at any point in that time if they actually wanted to.
