Canadian Cosplayer is Mistaken for Terrorist

The Cosplayer was wearing a gas mask, helmet, armour and bullet belt. He was also carrying a New Republic of California flag. People thought he had a bomb strapped to his back but it turned out to be several Pringles cans painted silver.

Police were hiding in bushes and behind their cars with long guns drawn. Happened in Grande Prairie, Alberta. (April 14, 2017)

A reminder to all you cosplayers out there: be careful how you dress when in the general public. Not everyone is savvy to semi-obscure characters/designs.

This, a thousand times this.

Take your mask off, bag your props, and move with people.

Every post apocalyptic cosplay group needs a Safety Naruto. The Safety Naruto will signal to ordinary people that yes this is indeed a costume.

The concept of a Safety Naruto is fucking hilarious

Just like a buddy system except it’s a bunch of people with prop guns or bombs are each assigned a Naruto

Finally an equivalent to safe for work sasuke

GUYS!!! GUYS!! GUYS!

I stumbled on something. I think… No! This is important! Okay, okay! I was on Zelda Wiki. Learning about Bae.

Image

Why because he is kinda important and predates Sky. Actually knew Hylia and was a Great Noble Hero of Hyrule.

Okay Emp we know this. But wait theres more! I mean hold the phone and drink some milk for this one! Hylia legit loved this dude and this dude loved her back even knowing the ramifications of what will go down. She tempered his spirit and used that to mold a future hero. Was she guilty? Obviously. Hence why this was one of the main factors to go full blown mortal!

Emp get to your point. Okay, I’m getting there I promise!

Read this excerpt:

Given the background, it occurred to me that if Hylia loved this particular hero that much wouldn’t she want to do more than just utilize the blueprints of the Hero’s Spirit? She most definitely did that, that's totes cannon...

However... the first Link was just a Hylian. A warrior. Renowned for his aptitude and mastery of the blade. Before the land of Skyloft, he was known for his bravery, his heroism, and his strength. He was so well known that people of the land even persecuted Bae for treason.

Now...for Skyward Sword, he is briefly mentioned. The facts, in game, are that Hylia was injured, when in fact it was the first Link (in the manga). This is easily explainable, because these events transpired thousands of years ago. Historic information is often lost in translation especially if there is no record keeping or the texts are damaged.

Jumping forward in Ocarina of Time era. No one knows about the first Link, let alone Demise. Heck, I wager anything after Skyward no one knows about that war. It’s forgotten.

It’s forgotten...

Who else do we know that is forgotten?

May I present the Fierce Diety!

What do we know about him? Pretty much nothing. Save for this excerpt:

“You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?”

Hylia loved the First Link so she molded the hero’s spirit’s blueprints but what if she encapsulated his raw power and strength within a mask? What if Termina was the Kingdom that was left behind before Skyloft was... Skyloft?

Of course, Termina would have lay in ruins and when people came back to the lands... People rebuilt. The Fierce Diety’s mask was recieved in Termina. No one knows who made it and it’s also said that the Diety sealed Majora before... The first Link was a Great Hero and could have smited Majora’s evil making him well known. Demise isn’t the only threat to the Lands of Hyrule....

So could The First Link’s Spirit and Raw Power be split? Yes. The Spirit harnesses the soul and courage; while, the Mask possesses a Warrior's tenacity and strength.

You are Welcome. This theory and headcanon brought to by Emp.

For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.

He’s absolutely right.

Also, the Joker started killing innocents for fun and profit in Batman #1 (published April 24, 1940)  and has been killing his henchmen since at least 1975.

(He poisoned a former employee named Dubek with a rare tropical disease. By the way, Dubek was in prison and was refusing to tell the prison administration squat about the Joker. So Dubek was completely loyal–out of fear, granted, but still loyal–and the Joker murdered him anyway.)

Lex Luther will give you up to eight season pass tickets to Disneyland if you file a civil suit against Superman for injuries and emotional distress. He will pay the down payment for a house if the Justice League Foundation settles with you out of court.

I really dislike Kawaii Future Bass or whatever this genre is called so I made it sound shitty with a bunch of random samples.
