Eros & Psyche

I just love Vincent learning about himself and who he is and how that unravels how he sees himself. He’s a “monster” and yet Real sees only his beauty and Re-l is captivated by him.

There’s also something so interesting about the expression of Jungian “libido” in Ergo Proxy as it relates to Eros & Psyche that I cannot quite put my finger on.

Psyche, the human soul, earns its place amongst the Gods but only after achieving psychological growth after Eros abandoned her. In depth psych, the longing for Eros is seen as an impetus towards psychospiritual evolution.

And I am not sure that I’ve seen an anime that captures romantic love as the love of God quite as beautifully as Ergo Proxy does. The fact that the artificial intelligence in Ergo Proxy “worships” upon obtaining a soul is in itself very telling.

The opening theme for JJK Season 2 Kaigyoku Gyokusetsu will be sung by Kitani Tatsuya, titled "Ao no Sumika" (meaning "Blue Home"), while the ending song will be sung by Sakiyama Soushi, can be read as either "Akari" or "Tomoshibi" (meaning "Light")

The right reading is Akari, the singer just tweeted it

Kitani-san's comment for the song. It's that flashback arc feelings :")
