Ok so lemme talk about sensitivity reading rates.

One, factor in word count of the document you’ll be reading through

Two, how many hours you’ll spend per document

Three, what exactly is your client asking of you. Commentary, feedback, edits? Meeting(s) to discuss your feedback?

Four, calculate what your time is worth for the whole project. Divide that up by a hourly rate. Don’t undercharge!

Five, provide a cost estimate, send to client & once you agree on rates, ask for a percentage up front. Send an invoice

Six, include how to pay you, when remaining balance is due.

Set terms of when project is considered completed by you & client

Seven, touch base, make sure deadlines & expectations are clear.

Eight, give feedback on both sides for improvement of process

Finally, nine; if possible get a review & text you can use to show what clients think of your work on your site.

TL; DR dont undercharge, communicate through the project & don’t do a lot of work for free or very little pay.

If anyone needs estimate or invoice templates, Google docs has good ones. Also see what industry standard editing rates are & base your fees off that.

Nioh could have been great with a Japanese lead in a Samurai game

Watching Phenom play Nioh and all I can think of is this is Dark Souls: White Savior - Last Samurai edition. Protag is blond & blue eyed. I lost any interest in it after trying the Alpha build, not my jam but it’s irritating me to no end that a samurai game has a white lead.
