This morning I got up, opened a new document and started writing my dissertation. It felt good looking at my rough, working title and my epigraph, and I realised that I have so much stuff in my head that needs to be out on the page. Just before eight I headed out and I met a friend at Columbia Road. We walked through the flower market, we bought some more plants for the flat – she is moving in with me next month. We had coffee and read aloud to each other. Everything is so exciting
My mind has been all over the place these past few days because I’ve got 3 assignments due on Monday, but setting aside a little bit of time to keep my desk tidy seems to work wonders. (Even if it’s just another form of procrastination) ✨

Spent half of the morning making flashcards for my clinical psychology exam (which is in July), I can‘t bother studying for my sociology exam yet, but I can‘t stand not being productive, so I‘m studying for clinical psychology instead :D I hope I can force myself to look at my sociology notes though.. I‘m going to watch Call me by your name tonight and I‘m really excited!

Today’s lecture notes on Parkinson’s disease.
Lecturers who aren’t dependent on Powerpoint slideshows are The. Best. They draw from memory and talk freely (but still structured) about their topic, without resorting to reading words from a slide. This also means that they have to manually write key words on the black board, which gives us, the students, sufficient time to take meaningful notes.
My notes from these neurology lectures are actually legible (!). So much time saved. In addition, lectures are much more fun to prepare for, attend, and to review afterwards.

Ten days until Halloween… so had to watch Halloweentown to celebrate 🎃 Got done a lot of studying for midterms today so I celebrated with some sushi.

April spread and so far I’m kind of enjoying my internship even though sometimes there were days where we didn’t have anything to do since we tend to finish all our task real quick lol. Another reason why I’m enjoying is it’s really near in our house I wouldn’t be wasting time to travel back and forth. Currently listening to Exo-CBX Blooming Day.
