“Peter was this lonely child in this room of adults, and he snuck off to his Dad’s study, and in walked Harry … They started playing chess, it was kind of a metaphor and I can’t remember the exact dialogue, but it was this lovely moment of these boys connecting and finding each-other. [Before this] Their relationship had been all about going to their fathers’ labs … In the doorway … They turn and there’s this silhouetted man in the beginning of his degenerative disease holding onto his cane.”

• Starting the movie in Richard Parker’s study (just like hide and seek in TASM) creates a thematic through-line with the first film
• Much stronger setup of Harry and Peter’s friendship

• Just a cute little character moment, and more continuity from TASM. Webb does these so well 

“There’s an entire year gap between the high school graduation and most of the rest of the film. This year gap makes Peter’s forlorn attitude towards Gwen cute instead of creepy, and it establishes that they’re college students. Gwen’s application to Oxford make more sense – in the finished film it’s like she decided to go to college at the last minute.”

• Max is looking after his bed-bound mother, who is emotionally abusive - she doesn’t remember or care about her own son’s birthday
• Stronger setup of Max’s isolation, more personal than just his rejection by Spider-Man
• His freakout here plays better than the one at Oscorp for ‘disrespecting’ Spider-Man
• Links to an important deleted scene later on 

• Peter, now a student at Empire State University, brings his first Spider-Man pictures to JJJ, who gives him a tour of the Daily Bugle offices in Times Square.

“[In TASM] Dr. Ratha seems to have been killed in deleted scenes, but the actual movie leaves him alive … He shows up in the script for TASM2, filling the same role as Donald Menken... the Oscorp stooge who engineers Harry’s dismissal from the company.

Nice continuity [from TASM]. All of the basic elements of Ratha’s role are in the finished movie, there’s just a different name attached.”

“In the original script the Goblin suit isn’t for military use but was specifically built in secret to heal/help Norman Osborn [After] Richard Parker wouldn’t give his blood to Osborn (the Parker DNA still being the key to it all). The suit went into Norman’s boathouse where Harry finds it.”

• Harry finding the Boathouse parallels Peter finding Roosevelt 
• Norman making the Goblin suit emphasizes how Harry is being manipulated by his father from beyond the grave 

• This is such a brief moment, why didn’t we actually see it?

• Replacing the voicemail she leaves him in the Theatrical cut

• Max considers killing Harry as revenge for his accident
• They consolidate their partnership. Doing this at Norman’s grave foregrounds his influence on Harry

• I’m torn on this one. On one hand it finally gives closure to the ‘Untold Story’ subplot Webb allegedly originally envisioned finishing in Film 1

• However you’d need to keep the opening plane crash to properly pay this off and the Parker Blood Destiny gimmick is bad

• An extension of the 'Special Projects' Easter-Egg vault, Michael Massee's Gustav Fiers visits Oscorp Vault #3. There we see Norman Osborn's disembodied, frozen head. Fiers ends the scene with "wake up, old friend"

“We shot the scene -- it's so weird -- but it didn't make it into 'Spider-Man 2.' I’m sure it would probably have been one of the opening scenes in 'Spider-Man 3' if they had gone ahead. But he was coming back. It's very bizarre, what they came up with.”

Master Kenobi and Knight Skywalker caught kissing in the temple gardens.

The reason I’m alive today is because you taught me how to survive. I’m grateful for that. Maybe I could have lived a life where I inherited the organization. But spending time away from you showed me many more things. An annoying mother hen of a roommate. The taste of cheap Hamburg steak. The warmth that comes sleeping three to a bed. Taking care of a sick child. How to make French toast. An unexpected surprise party. A gold medal from a field day. The view from the top of a Ferris wheel. There were so many things out there that I could hold dear.

Season 1, Episode 4: Scott overhears Kate telling Chris that Derek has 24 hours before the wolfsbane bullet kills him. In fact, the episode is called Magic Bullet. The whole episode is dedicated to this lore.

Season 3(B), Episode 21: Noshiko Yukimura says that she is 900 years old and in a flashback to 1943, we see she looks like Kira's age. This means it took around 70 years for her to go from looking like a teenager to a middle aged woman and she probably looked like a teenager for hundreds of years before then. So, this middle aged looking deputy either didn't age like a kitsune or didn't notice that he had lived decades longer than anyone he knew (not to mention he also had a brother that was in the same boat but at least knew they were kitsune). It should also be noted that Peter says in 3B that kitsune usually can't even appear as humans unless they've learned to, a skill that takes a hundred years (except for Kira who is half human).

Most of Season 3B, and Season 4, Episode 12: Kitsune have to "earn" each tail through milestones (such as learning how to heal) and when they do, the tails manifest as weapons. This deputy never noticed going through 9 difficult life-altering trials and 9 swords just appearing in his house.

Season 3(A), Episodes 8, 11, and 12: Scott, Allison, and Stiles literally died to learn where the Nemeton was because Melissa, Argent, and the sheriff were being kept there. Derek and Peter knew where the nemeton was in a flashback before Talia took the memory of its location away, but somehow Peter found it again at the season finale when he killed the Darach on it.

Season 5(A), Episodes 4, 10, and 11: Parrish was blacking out and taking chimera corpses to the Nemeton without knowing it. Theo dragged Lydia to the nemeton when he resurrected some of the chimera, including Corey and Hayden. Hell, Mason and Liam were able to find it just by concentrating really hard.

Season 1, Episode 1: The first time he actually met Derek was when Scott was with Stiles looking for his inhaler and Derek told them “This is private property”.

Season 1, Episode 23: In the finale, Argent yells at Kate that "There were human children in that house!" as he's telling Kate that what she did (burning the Hale house) isn't what they do.

Season 3(B), Episode 24: Isaac and Argent take the Nogitsune to France.

Season 3(B), Episode 13, Season 3(B), Episode 22, and Season 3(A), Episode 12: Not only has Kira already explained this to him before, Scott has actually been to Bardo twice (the all white room with bright lights and pillars): once when he sacrificed himself to find the nemeton and once while mindwalking inside Stiles' head.

Season 2, Episode 8: Derek tells Boyd, who has been shot multiple times with wolfsbane, that Boyd needs to leave to go take care of it. No one goes to find similar bullets.

Season 3(B), Episode 24: Derek burns out the wolfbane out of the twins with a lighter.

Season 4, Episode 4: Derek burns wolfsbane out of Peter's chest with a blowtorch from a tomahawk wound.

Season 6 Finale, Episode 20: Derek burns out yellow wolfsbane from Scott with a blowtorch.

Season 1, Episode 4: Stiles was the one to almost chop off Derek's arm.

Season 4, Episode 12: Derek's eyes turn back to blue after he was killed by a berserker and came back as an Evolved Wolf.
