A/N. i combined the two requests because they went really well together :) I hope you guys like it, i really enjoyed writing this one.
You were sitting in the lair, your nickname for the Dread Doctor’s abandoned hideout, with your math books spread out on one of the operating tables. You looked up to the sound of pounding feet, and Josh smiled at you as he came down the stairs.
“Hi tiny.” He dropped his bag beside you, pulling out a huge textbook. “What are you working on?”
“Math. What about you?”
“Chemistry.” He pouted. “I fucking hate this class.”
You laughed and walked around the table to stand behind his chair. “It’s not that hard. Do you want my help?”
He nodded and grabbed your waist, tugging you into his lap. You laughed as his hand slid into your hair, and he pulled you forward, kissing you hungrily. His hands slid down your neck, past your shoulders, and you pulled back, putting your fingers over his mouth to hold him back. Any other tactic resulted in you being pinned to the nearest surface and kissed roughly.
“Not now.” You laughed, attempting to climb out of his lap. His arm wrapped around your waist and kept you trapped. “Seriously, I have a test tomorrow.”
He pouted, resting his head against your shoulder and pressing soft kisses against your neck. “You can study from here. Chemistry involves a lot of math.”
“Fine.” You sighed, giggling when he nipped at your neck. “Okay but you have to stop that. Josh I’m serous!”
“Josh.”
Both of you looked up to see Theo standing at the bottom of the stairs, arms crossed. Josh let out a low growl, eyes flashing purple, and then he blushed, dropping his gaze.
“Sorry Theo. I don’t know why I keep doing that.”
“Hi Theo.” You smiled a little nervously.
“(Y/n).” He said curtly. “I need to speak with Josh in private. Hayden’s upstairs if you need a ride home.”
“Okay.” You nodded, getting to your feet. “I’m going to head home then. I’ll see you later Josh?”
He nodded, getting up and helping you pack up all of your books. He kissed you quickly, causing you to giggle and push him away, smiling, and waited until he couldn’t hear you footsteps before turning to glare at Theo.
“What the hell was that?” He snapped.
Theo raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“What just happened.” Josh growled. The lights started to flicker. “Why are you so horrible to her? If you didn’t want her in the pack you shouldn’t have brought her back to life with the rest of us.”
Theo sighed. “She’s a liability Josh. She’s human, and weak, and she’s going to get herself killed. You too probably.”
“Then why did you bring her back?” Josh snapped. “If you thought she was so weak and useless then why not just leave her dead?”
“Because she could still be of use to me.” Theo said. “But that doesn’t mean she’s part of the pack.”
Josh glared. “Then neither am I.” He spun around to leave, and Theo lunged forward, grabbing his arm.
“Wait.” He pulled the other boy back. “Look Josh, I’m sorry. She is part of the pack. Of course she is. I just want you to be careful, and try not to get too attached. I can’t bring her back a second time.”
Josh nodded, still looking angry, the lights still flickering above him. Theo held onto him for a moment longer, and the other boy nodded again, this time keeping his head lowered. A sign of submission. He wasn’t going anywhere.
You didn’t notice it until Stiles pointed it out, “isn’t it weird how that Josh guy from Theo’s pack is always hanging around wherever we are.”
“Well we go to the same school Stiles.”
“No, no I think he’s spying on us.”
“Stiles, don’t be weird.” But after that, you started to see it. How he’d always be at the coffee shop in the mornings, or how he’d only be in the library on Thursday nights just like you. You caught him looking at you a couple times but each time your eyes met, he’d smile. You wanted to walk over and talk to him, maybe even ask him to hang out but considering who he hung around with, you decided it’d be best not to for the time being.
