I had to mentally send myself a reaction image the other day. I ran up the stairs on all fours, said to myself “i’m such a locationpilled scampercel” and then perfectly envisioned this image

please i've already hurt so much

you can love a character and still admit when they’re wrong…. i love homura but can acknowledge her flaws (she has none) and can hold her accountable for her wrongdoings (she’s never done anything wrong in her life) and call her out for her actions (which are always correct)

Lara Croft. I made this drawing based on one of the concept arts from the 1996 Tomb Raider by Toby Gard

Hope you like it :)

Just realized that art was my first ever impression of her character and your version captures exactly the kind of personality I thought she was supposed to have. I was surprised when it turned out she was like a prim rich girl explorer and not some kind of gritty violent maniac. Can they go back and do it that way for real.

Things that work in fiction but not real life

  • torture getting reliable information out of people
  • knocking someone out to harmlessly incapacitate them for like an hour
  • jumping into water from staggering heights and surviving the fall completely intact
  • calling the police to deescalate a situation
  • rafting your way off a desert island
  • correctly profiling total strangers based on vibes
  • effectively operating every computer by typing and nothing else
  • ripping an IV out of your arm without consequences
  • heterosexual cowboy

This post breaching containment has taught me that a lot of people seem to think they can accurately profile complete strangers. For the record, no the fuck you can't.
