Another new enemy for Savant Ascent
These guys are shielded from regular attacks and require power shots to knock their shield off. They fire boomerang-chainsaws that get in the way of jumps. You're in trouble if you forget them in the chaos.

This is a Voven (part oven, arranged in a dog shape.) It likes to stomp between platforms, so you have to keep on your toes while you try to regain your precious movement space

Wanted to expand my old Breath of Fire 7 idea mockup from 2014 from SD to widescreen. Had had an old design for a masked, Woren sniper I could add. Carries a changable rifle far larger than she is.

2021: Year of the Ox. "Break the barrier"
The intention that year was to start off the art-year with something impactful. I took that pretty literally.
