DAY 2 of ''im not finishing this because i wanna lay down'' !

[id 1: two drawings of Anthy Himemiya from the anime Revolutionary Girl Utena. Anthy is a South Asian school girl with wavy purple hair, thick black eyebrows, and a red bindi on her forehead. She is wearing Homura's magical girl outfit from the anime Puella Magi Madoka.

The first drawing shows a worried Anthy with her hair done up, wearing her glasses, and holding a black handgun which is pointed at the ground.

The second drawing shows a confident Anthy showing Homura's pink soul gem embedded in the back of her left hand. Her hair is now loose.

Between the two drawings is a signature reading "@Hello Anthy"

id 2: a cropped frame of Chu Chu the monkey from Revolutionary Girl Utena. Chu-Chu is smiling but his face is bulging outwards. Beside the image is the text "being Himemiya is suffering".

everyone wants weird until weird is actually weird and they don’t know how to cope with that

the dehumanization of high-risk people at almost year 3 of the pandemic is so enormously scary and painful.

“high risk people will protect themselves” how? did you think about that? are we able to go grocery shopping? are we able to see loved ones? are we able to access lifesaving medical appointments? no! you refuse to protect us!

“I think you’re taking covid too seriously” I don’t want to die! I don’t want to die! I’m a human, too, and I don’t want to die! Look at me — I’m a human!

If you don’t yet love your body as your own, sometimes it helps to think of it as a Thing you are capable of caring for.

[id: a comic colored only with light blue, orange, and black. a figure is shown lying across the ground, reaching out to touch a small snake in the grass. the form of a snake is drawn over their body, which is undefined save for their shape and short hair. “a lot of time i feel like my consciousness is trapped inside an animal,” reads the narration. “in a literal sense, this is true for everyone,” it continues over a shot of that person, now shown to have glasses and dark hair, turned to face a dark version of themself with sharp teeth and animalistic eyes. more versions of their human form are fading out behind them. “but it makes maintaining my body feel like having a shitty pet i didn’t ask for— but which i am tasked with feeding—” the person is shown chopping up vegetables with a neutral expression “—and grooming—” the person scrubs their face with soap “—and caring for—” the person rubs their arms, bundled up under blankets “—and which doesn’t love me…” the person’s form flickers as they glare downward, a ghost-like version of themself behind them. then they turn to the side, and as flowers and fruit fall around them, the snake once trapped within them untethers. it coils around their body, curled around their arm as it licks their face. the person is now faintly smiling as they stand in a field of blooming flowers. the narration concludes, “…yet.” /end id.]

I keep seeing alt text that contains artist's notes or jokes instead of an actual image description and I just wanna say: fucking stop doing that. It's really rude to visually impaired people. Our accessibility features aren't your playground. Put that shit in the tags where it belongs.

ultimately you could have the most nuanced character on earth and fans will still reduce them to gay boy with no other personality traits
