Ok, so, I just watched "Strange World" which came out on Disney+ last Friday, and I'm procrastinating applying for colleges soooooo you get to hear my ramblings about what I imagine Disney could do for a "Strange World 2" which will all know will never happen.Like, there so fucking much they could do with this world that they've created and they probably won't!
For instance, that 'turtle' had to come from somewhere! Sure, it could be the last of its kind, but still!
And the people, how did the people get there!? Are you saying this 'turtle', while its obviously survived for many many years, just had people on it to begin with? No, no, there has to be more 'turtles', more people! Or at least ecosystems similar to its own!
The Clade Family could explore beyond their own 'turtle!' Maybe a lost civilization that's trying to live off the remains of their 'turtle!' Maybe it died of the Pando Virus, and they weren't able to realize it quick enough to stop it!
Oh oh! or maybe its a type of elemental survival! Avalonia could be the Earth Element, where the people on their world do their best to survive off of the Earth! Their 'turtle' is a common tortoise! And that would mean there could be a Water Element, or a sea turtle, where the people on that world try to survive underwater! Not exactly mermaids, but they maybe live under a dome of some kind? Same for the Fire and Water Element, where one turtle lives in a volcano or a harsh desert-like world, and the other lives above the clouds!
So much to think about, so much you could use! And yet, Disney is more than likely just going to throw this movie to the side and forget about it. Its this generation's "Treasure Planet."
