I’m trying a bourbon that is relatively new to the market - New Riff! This Bottled in Bond bourbon was distilled in the Spring of 2015 and bottled in the Spring of 2019. While this has the bite and sharpness of a young bourbon, it is great! I’m looking forward to seeing what this distillery can do. This is sweet on the nose, with sticky caramel, toffee, and vanilla. On the palate you’ll notice more oak and spice than you smelled and then the flavors of caramel and vanilla become apparent with some cinnamon candies.
