i hear your “slow progress is still progress” and raise you “sometimes you will find yourself making no progress and that is okay

we’re human and we’re not always going to be progressing every minute of our lives, and sometimes we need extra help to get to where we want to be and there’s nothing wrong with that

You gotta rest, babies. Progress has to come with rest. When you realize you’ve had progress, stop and REST. Let yourself feel what you’ve learned. Start to use it. Don’t worry so much on what to do next. Stay in the moment of having DONE ENOUGH FOR NOW.

Rest.

Moment of silence to the whole lands, whole languages, whole cultures, whole peoples that did not survive the terror of European colonialism and bless all those who have and continue to survive it’s long standing impact and oppression all of the world.

hi, is your handle about harry potter? i just wanted to check cause you seem cool and i'd like to follow but seeing hp stuff as a trans person these days makes me wary. thanks!

Totally understandable. It is HP inspired but I am in the process of thinking up a new one because JKR has become a terrible person and tainted everything. It’s taking me a minute to come up with one bc I just finished grad school and moved to a new city and started a new job.

Terfs can bite me. Trans rights are human rights. New blog handle is imminent. You are more than welcome to hang around here if you like.

And this is a message to any terfs or republicans or libertarians or people who don’t believe Black Lives Matter who may be following - get right the fuck out of here.

I promise I'll shut up about UK politics soon, but not a day goes by without another Tory scandal and today the invoice for Boris Johnson's £200,000 No. 11 renovations leaked, and while it reveals there were some fascinating choices made (like £500 for a table cloth, £7,000 for a rug, £6,000 for a lamp, £3,675 for a trolley, all while Boris's government has plunged the country into poverty), some of you may not know what these renovations look like and...

well...

"Persuasion is Austen's saddest and most impassioned novel, and in its blend of the public and the personal it explores both the anguish of silence and the value of hope."
