If there’s anything being a Taylor Swift fan has taught me is being overexcited™️ and overdramatic™️
“my biggest goal moving forward is to make you proud”

it’s funny because historically snakes also represent rebirth. as in, I have gone through this whirlwind of a media experience and come out stronger, better, b r a n d n e w.
I’m already a slut for TS7
Hey @taylorswift !!!
I’m Deborah, and I’ve been lucky enough to call myself a mutual with you for the past three and a half years on here (which is still INSANE to me)! I’ve been following your music since my sister showed me Should’ve Said No in 2007 and seven year old me really felt that betrayal right alongside you, despite not really yet having a clue what love meant myself.
Over the past eleven years I’ve gotten to grow through your music as a path in my life and I could not be more thankful for the experiences I’ve had: my first ever concert was the Summertime Ball in 2013 to see you perform, then Red Tour the next February (dressed up as each of your albums with my friends!), 1989 tour the next June (dressed as Frostbyte from the Bad Blood music video) … and so it goes! You’ve been a voice, a help, a friend, in the good times and in the bad. I lost my mum when I was 14 years old, and spent my summer processing so many emotions to the soundtrack of heartbreak and the lyrics you shared with the world made me feel less alone in that. I can’t thank you enough, truly.
Flash forward to 2018: I’ve seen you twice already at Wembley Stadium and had the TIME OF MY LIFE!! I’ve made such a huge group of friends through this tour and we got to finally meet and dance the night away together at the rep tour, so thank you for bringing us all together so wonderfully! I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to say it to be honest, but I get to see this show one last time on November 9th in Auckland - I’m a London girl but from New Zealand on my dad’s side and I’m getting to spend this year with family away from everything I know, discovering new experiences and getting to see you again! I’ll be there with my auntie and I cannot wait to experience the magic of this tour for a third time. I’d love to finally get to hug you, but I know that’s a chance in a million so I just want you to know that I am so grateful for the place in my heart you’ve had these past eleven years, and all that you’ve done for me without even knowing it.
The one thing I’d ask, if you’re able, is if you ever got to see this - the reputation album really spoke to me in knowing who is true to you, and the lyric ‘here’s to my mama’ especially has helped my sister and I - so much so that we wore matching t shirts with that lyric and I made a sign to match for tour this year! It’s helped in understanding and accepting that my mum is no longer a physical presence in my life, but that still she has inspired and shaped me in so many ways and her legacy continues to do so each day; I truly owe her everything. If you see this, and if it worked out, I’d love to get a tattoo of that lyric if you were able to write it down somehow! Again, I know it’s a crazy ask and most likely won’t come to be, but a girl’s got to try, right? Anyway, sending you all my love and support for these last few shows of your best tour yet, and I’m so excited to get to dance and jump and scream my heart out at the reputation tour in Auckland!!
Deborah x

I’ll be one of the many saying “you made us proud”
And I’m dying to know, is it killing you like it’s killing me?
