For @slocotion's DYO on patreon! Ended up being way more personal than I intended ;.; I haven't seen any droopy hat jesters in the previous lineups, hopefully it's cool! There's probably lots that might not translate well to textile, but the Vibes...are there. Aggressively there. Gonna go rest my eyeballs.

Zero's been my go-to character name for decades (in games etc), and it fits well with the sad spacey theme.

I thought the idea of stacking a top hat on top of a jester cap might be a bit silly, but I ended up liking it more than I expected?

@slocotion is holding a Design Your Own Jester competition, and this is my submission! Their name is Nebula, I think :]

Their shirt is inspired by the layers of colour in nebulae, and whilst it's not immediately obvious all the stars on their hat and trousers create real constellations.

He is a follower of the Great Old Ones. Learning their knowledge of which would drive a normal human made.

He has gained knowledge of the other worlds and the dimensions beyond the cosmos. Able to create small worm holes that can allow small beings to pass through. Don't gaze at it for too long. The colors may take you over and drain you.

I was very excited for the opportunity to show you how much your art has inspired me, @slocotion ! Not only that, but to find out the theme for this prompt was outer space had me over the moon. I poured Helix out from my heart, and I hope you like him. He's based around the nebula named Helix and is also referred to as "Eye of God" due to its unusual appearance. This nebula, in particular, has always fascinated me.

Since nebulae are the dust that is thrown out due to the explosion of dying stars (supernovae), I was inspired to make him look like a floating space ghost.

I based them mostly on shooting stars, but couldnt resist the galaxy patterns <3 I like to think they travel about, mapping their fellow stars

Me and Amontillado just got back from a trip to Baltimore! home of Edgar Allan Poe. We enjoyed our time at the Steampunk convention there ^^ It only felt right to being him, seeing as he was named after one of the man’s short stories. Shoutout to the person who recognized @slocotion ‘s work and was super excited to meet Amontillado :p

Meet Lumo! A Cosmic being with a HUGE appetite. While mostly dressed in his favorite color yellow, his hands and feet burn so hot they’ve turned white and blue.

Lumo is an eater of stars. He bounces from galaxy to galaxy sipping on their gaseous flames in an attempt to fill his ever burning belly. Though small, he has eaten chunks from numerous stars and is wanted in at least 70 Galaxies for the unlawful destruction and mangling of stars. His lovely clothes are riddled with the failed attempts to strike him down from the starry skies and stop his reign of terror.

But he is so hungry and his tummy burns so bad. Lumo thrives on the few seconds when he gets his first sip of a new star and for just a moment, he is full and happy. But as always, it fades to the burning and he is again searching for a sweet sweet taste of a burning star. It’s not his fault after all, being born with a black hole belly is a curse, even for a tiny solar cat.

His shirt has ripped from many a meal and now the stars trapped within shine through, catching the eye of many a night sky watcher.

Two people in my town were stabbed to death this week. The third victim survived thankfully but she is still in critical condition. The killer, who was on track to becoming a doctor, went on a stabbing spree after being kicked out of the university. He targeted the homeless. He’s a coward and an idiot, caught because he returned to his crime scene in broad daylight.

The first two victims are receiving all the media attention since they had “accomplished” more in life. Please please help donate to the surviving victim’s recovery fund. Kimberlee Guillory was on the streets because she could not stay in a shelter without giving up her dog. She is known as a kind and respected member of the community, and she needs as much help as she can get right now. Thank you in advance!
