I keep having dreams about looking through old videogame magazines and finding articles on dragon quest. When I wake up to post it on my blog, it's not real!! Anyway, college started up again, and I immediately got sick. It's been two weeks... I'm almost better. I did play dqvii a little, but I'm stuck on a hard boss battle involving a certain pig and tiger. I decided to wait to get dqviii until my birthday, since I haven't even finished 7 yet. :] and of course, I hope to continue my journey with Torneko soon!

Weirdly, this book has a sleeve, even though it’s paperback. Is it a Japan thing? A 90s thing?
I did not alter the colors of this photo. The sleeve is REALLY off-model. Green Slimes, yellow Monjars, white Mummies, GREEN LICLICKS? Gotta love 1993.

There are also pages with strategies on how to fight each monster! Bomb crag gets its own page. It’s the only one that suggests to FIGHT, SHOOT, AND RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There’s a chart with the monsters that live on each floor! It also shows guaranteed items, like the king’s treasure on Fl10 of the practice dungeon, the Safe on Fl10, the Outside scroll on Fl20, and the Box of Happiness on Fl27.
