the wave of sleepiness hits me
like one might at sea
it is an interesting thought
considering i have never bought
a boat in order to sail
therefore there is not a single tale
i can tell from my time away
considering i have always been this way
and in the midst of the night
i am not left with a sense of frightÂ
as when i curl up under the blanket
there is my ticket
to a much loved nap
where i fall asleep in a snap
