So i saw star wars ix on sunday and it took me until now to sort my opinions on it but now i feel like sharing it, even though no ones gonna read this anyway probably.

I have to say that i went into it with mixed feelings and mostly the fear of being disappointed. I left the theater more than happy. Not only was i allowed to watch my bois adam, john and oscar deliver another great performance but also daisy ridley really improved in this one, which might have been due to the fact that i watched it in english and her voice and that subtle britishness is just beautiful to listen to. As for the movie itself i'm really relieved that j. j. abrams took the reigns again and brought us a beatiful and sophisticated ending to the saga. I have not nearly enough time to go into details but the overall looks of the movie, plot, character development and so on were amazing. Yes it had its flaws but what star wars movie hadn't had those. I liked how some of the big plot holes and writing issues of the last two movies were resolved, and i don't know about you but i really liked how the way too obvious romantic plotlines were kind of... ignored to concentrate  on whats important. Even the kiss scene was believable and had this bittersweet yet not overbearing feeling that would otherwise have made the scene too corny.

The humor was more carefully placed and made much more sense as well as the cameos of both characters and sets.

You may notice that my thoughts are still all over the place so i'll end this little review here but all in all i'm glad to say i liked this movie and it's a worthy conclusion to the saga that accompanied my since i was little. And it still has the same magic to it. (p.s.: i almost like rey's diy lightsaber more than ben's)
