The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring the coolest stuff on the Internet, and we’d like to highlight just a few of our favorites from this year’s round of winners. Congratulations to all!

At this year’s Webby Awards, our founder had the pleasure of giving the Lifetime Achievement Award to GIF inventor and legend, Steve Wilhite. Amanda also had the pleasure of accepting awards for Best Community (yes you are), Best User Experience, and Best Tablet App!

The fabric is some splash-proof coat cloth from the early 1980s, in a simple “make-it-up-as-you-go-along” patchwork pattern.

The hand-quilting took what seemed like forever.

And now to decide what to actually do with it!  I guess a cushion cover is in order, it is just over 18 inches square.
