I have no idea how to start this off, but. Slasher U: Act 1 has been nominated for a MOTHERFUCKING INDIECADE AWARD IN THE IMPACT CATEGORY!! I have basically worked my ENTIRE LIFE for this and it is an INCREDIBLE HONOR and I'm kind of just still in dreamland waiting to wake up about it. tbh. but. BUT.

It may take us out of our comfort zones, and confront us directly on social progress yet to be done, or mark a real change in the industry. I can't imagine a better fuckin award for this giant behemoth eldritch baby I have created, and I can't think of a better reason to be nominated for it than YOU GUYS. Like. I always say making Slasher U and building this community is like running a gay bar during Prohibition, but it's honestly a lot more like the musical Cabaret. I'm here to keep the cabaret running, no matter what. It'll always be a gay, weird, horny-on-consent, safe, and fuckin' unhinged place, no matter how fashy the outside gets. I will be here serving the drinks (games) til I die. And when I'm gone, hell, someone else will run a cabaret, too. I love you guys. I literally couldn't do this without you. You are all why I keep making this game (I mean, I'm making it for me, too, but SERIOUSLY. You're the beating heart of this campus and I mean it. I wouldn't still be making this without you. <333)
