Did you know that “TT”, often written in Korean as “ㅠㅠ” is an emoji? 

It is usually seen and used in text online or on mobile messaging and is used to show that one is crying. The vertical lines are tears, and other variations can be used - single “ㅠ”, double “ㅠㅠ”, with a mouth “ㅠ_ㅠ” and more!

It’s usage is not limited to sad situations, but can be used to imply that something is so cute that you’re crying, you’re so happy that you’re crying etc.
