don’t you just love having a 2 hour mental breakdown over something pretty insignificant but then realize it’s much more than that and it’s still going on?

I feel like,
All I ever had were bad days,
You say the sun come out,
When the rain stops,
And the rain isn't forever,
well tell me,
How come my downpour,
Never seems to cease?

Dear Family, Friends, Girlfriends and Boyfriends!

We are sorry, you can’t get us out of bed in the morning on some days.

We are sorry, we cry for days without stopping.

We are sorry, we stop talking to you for hours.

We are sorry, we are not eating the meal you cooked for us.

We are sorry, you can’t cheer us up.

We are sorry, you had to find us in the bathroom with blood running down our forearms.

We are sorry, for running away and making you worry so much about us.

We are sorry, for keeping you up at night, because we can’t sleep.

We are sorry, for ruining you day with our miserable mood.

We are sorry, we can’t get easily excited over things you did.

We are sorry, we got you frustrated with us again.

We are sorry, we hurt you again.

We are sorry, we are such a big deal.

But we do thank you for your trying and we appreciate your help!

Thank you!

Habits of depressed people Part 2

1. We cancel plans and appointments.

2. We develope other bad habits like picking our skin or cutting ourselves.

3. Jogging might help. It can give us the feeling that we accomplished something.

4. The most challenging thing is the hiding. It’s so exhausting to put on a fake smile all day.

5. We can get very lazy and start procrastinating. Plus we forget to eat or shower.

6. Our music playlist might change according to our mood.

7. Sometimes we don’t wanna have anything to do with human interactions. Just leave us in peace, please.

8. Cleaning can be good, because it distracts us and gives us something to do. But excessive cleaning is too much.

9. We tend to order take-out because cooking is far too draining.

10. We push people away in a very harmful way. It’s only to protect ourselves and we are sorry.

Today I discovered this writer’s tactic to face her fear of rejection and failure, and it’s honestly very inspiring?! This kinda rewired my brain and I feel everyone should read and think about it.
