A seal took refuge on a boat to escape killer whales

What an incredibly evil, selfish woman. "You need to get off my boat and go get eaten."

That poor sea lion. Bet she didn't make it 30 seconds off that boat. The woman *could* have calmed the hell down and just enjoyed that a sea lion trusted her to save it from them, and watch the majesty of the orcas swimming around until they left. Horrible.

Just a casual observer, here: Judging by the woman’s voice, she sounded like she was just as scared of the whales as the Sea Lion, almost worried that they’ll try to breach onto HER boat to get the thing.

I was definitely having that second-hand anxiety with how close they got. And before you say, “Oh, they wouldn’t do that,” I doubt that SHE would think that in what is clearly a stressful time.

Besides--And this is a harsh truth here--That’s mother nature. Whale eats seals for food, and their poop feeds the animals that the seals eat or however the circle of life works. It’s a sad deal for the seal, but you can’t keep a killer whale away from its meal forever.
