Ok this might get a little long… there are lots of uses for egg shells!

So egg shells are naturally protective. If you wash them and clean them, then grind them into a powder, you can actually use them as an alternative to salt for casting circles outside since egg shells are actually GOOD for the soil and plants as opposed to salt which will kill everything. Since those egg shells are good for the soil and plants and give plants nutrients, they are a great addition to soil for added nutrients. They are loaded with calcium, potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus which are all fantastic for your plants! SO because of this, I would definitely recommend subbing egg shells for salt if you absolutely HAVE to bury a spell. Just make sure all the rest of the ingredients INCLUDING the vessel or what you are burying it in are safe to go into the ground as well.

Speaking of plants… you can also add herbs to your eggshell powder to make a magical powder with specific intent as well. You can also make that eggshell powder (or magical powder) into a chalk-like stick and use it to write sigils around your property or home or whatever else (as long as you aren’t vandalizing things… don’t do that).

Eggshells are also really good in healing spells as well, or spells where something requires nurturing. You can also use them as a representation of a womb if you need that for something. I also correspond eggshells to fertility to a certain extent. You can also use them very effectively in cleansing and purification rituals, on top of already being protective. They really really handy!

Now since you mentioned curses, you can DEFINITELY use them in baneful magic. I don’t use the powder for curses so much as just broken, jagged bits of eggshells. Have to ever poked your finger on a sharp, broken eggshell? Things hurt! Throw those in a curse jar to slice up your target or even to break them. Alternatively, you can also take the phrase “walking on eggshells” to heart and make a curse so that your target is always feeling that annoying feeling of walking on eggshells.

Romance Attraction Spell Jar

1. Get your jar

2. Cleans your jar

3. Add your ingredients (I used these, but you can add, take out what feels right to you)

Jasmine flowers
Rose buds
Lavender
Dill
Rose quartz
Lemon balm
Cinnamon
White Willow bark
Sage
Lemongrass
Sigil for love

4. Seal with red and pink wax while repeating the phrase “I attract healthy romance” or whatever phrase feels right to you

then you’re done!

This is an easy spell to bring softness and tenderness to one of your relationships, helping you reconnect in a soft way with your loved one; definitely one of my favorite spells!

You will need:

One red apple
A red, pink or white candle
Rose petals
Lavender
Jasmine Oil
Honey
+ Vanilla Incense for an extra oomph

Instructions:

While visualizing peace and love between you and your person of choice (a friend, partner, family member, etc.) cut the apple in half, and carve a hole big enough for the candle. Smother some jasmine oil on the surface of the apple. Then, add a spoonfull of honey in the hole followed by the herbs, and finally, the candle; lit it as you say the following:

By this apple and honey sweet,

peace and love I bring,

I call upon the Power of (deity of choice)

and ask that this relationship is blessed,

to be full of love and light,

and our future be ever so bright,

So mote it be!

After this, let the candle burn all the way down. You can also add different herbs, such as saffron, cinammon or cloves, in order to change this spell to a more passion driven focus. Best done on a friday at 4:00 p.m. ❤️🌹

Note: this spell is not meant to make someone fall in love with you, but rather bring good energies to a relationship that you already have and wish to keep planting seeds of love in.

CAUTION: once the flame hits the bottom of the candle and catches the herbs the wax melts quickly and is very messy. Be sure to have water on hand (in a glass and/or spray bottle) because the remaining wick, wax and herbs could cause a fire of not properly contained. I recommend burning this in a bowl with at least an inch of salt/water around the candles base.

As always, NEVER LEAVE A RITUAL CANDLE TO BURN UNATTENDED.

PROTECTION SPELL BOTTLE

a simple spell bottle to protect yourself mentally, physically and spiritually

WHAT YOU NEED :

salt - protection, purification
cinnamon - protection, speeds up spells, courage
rosemary - protection, purification
chilli flakes - ward of unwanted energies
bay - protection against hexes and curses
basil- peace, protection, drive away evil
ginger - make spells more powerful, protection
black pepper - protection
oak leaves- protection, wisdom
egg shells - protection
lavender - peace, healing, protection
sage (please don’t use white sage) - protection, purification
paper
pen
spell bottle jar
candles : i used a white one and the also the wax from my deity candles on my alter

WHAT TO DO:

as always, ground yourself and cast a circle in the way you prefer
light all your candles, you can also light some insence if you’d like
in no particular order, add all your herbs into the jar (using a funnel - even if you make one from paper, can be really helpful), focussing on intent
create a sigil with the intent of protection using your own words and method. draw it on a small slip of paper, fold and add to the jar.
speak affirmations into the jar focusing on the protection of yourself ( or whoever will be wearing this). You can also repeat the statement used for the sigil
put the lid on and place the jar on something you can pour the candle wax onto.
pour all the candle wax onto your spell jar, allowing it to run down the sides and even create a pool at the bottom
allow the candle wax to mainly dry and remove the bottle. it is now done. i like to put the left lever wax that’s not attached on a wax melt thingy and melt it for further protection

Ok so that kid isn’t a witch. He’s a guy who owns a company that SELLS human remains. I hate him and I hope his business goes under because he’s always all “my remains are ethically sourced”. No they aren’t, dipshit. There is no way to ethically source human remains unless it’s through direct donation. Even the Smithsonian has a whole bunch of unethically sourced remains, and they’re very aware of it. One of the first goddamned things I had to learn while getting a bioarchaeology masters - which this kid does NOT have - was how bone collections are built and the ethics of having them even for education. Its a huge part of working with human remains. You, random dude on the internet, have not found some magical ethical bone source that allows you to sell them large scale. Also tagging @kaijutegu bc she knows way more than I do.

Oh, and don’t @ me about medical bone collections making it ethical. Bone collections older than, like…50 years if I’m being generous and 30 if I’m not…were unethically acquired almost all of the time. Something he’d know if he wasn’t, yknow, an art student and completely uneducated beyond “wow bones are cool”.

I went to his website because I like being mad apparently, saw that he’s selling ribs from real human people to any shmuck with $18 so they can throw it in a drawer and pull it out to impress their shitty friends or whatever, and got so mad that I had to go take a walk around the parking lot.

He claims all his bones are from old medical skeletons that families who inherited from old time doctors or whatever sell him, but guess what.

Most if not all of those skeletons came from India, where people got them by stealing corpses from poor people’s graves.

Excepting of course his remains from other indigenous groups like the Sami, who had their remains stolen to try and prove that they were inferior to other ethnic groups! Because he totally had those for sale too, until he got called out and that listing mysteriously vanished from his shop.

Anyway I hope this guy gets hit by a bus.
