Did Sansa telling Cersei about Ned’s plans had any effect on the plot? Or was Cersei going to arrest Ned and kill all of his household anyways? I genuinely can’t tell
Sansa telling Cersei about Ned's plans ensured that she was captured and affected Arya's storyline. Cersei was going to arrest Ned and kill his household anyway, it's true, but Sansa's information meant she had zero chance of escape and Arya had a very, very small one (which she actually accomplished).
A lot of adulthood is shouting “AUGH MY LAUNDRY” hours after you put it in the washer/dryer and running to go fetch it

"Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings" is a warning.
It is a warning that there will be no further warnings. That's what it means. It was designed into the structure of AO3's tagging system for a reason. If you only want to read fic with specific, distinct content warnings, you should not read "Chose Not to Warn" fics. Period. If you choose to read them, that is on you.
Regardless of whether you think the author is an asshole for any other reason, regardless of what you think of the fic they wrote, they're not the asshole for using that tag correctly and as it was designed.
Friendly reminder that MOST archived items that were imported will have this because PROVIDING WARNINGS IS NOT WHAT WE USED TO DO.
It's not being an asshole. Sometimes a writer looks at a fic and goes... I'm not sure. And chooses not to warn, to be on the safe side, rather than badly tagging with the wrong warning.
Sometimes it is an imported fic that the writer never claimed (is possibly already dead?) to change the meta data to reflect current processes.
Sometimes, it's just a writer with no spoons left after managing to wrangle the words to the archive. Like: "fuck I need all these meta data bits and bobs but I'm fucking wrung out" so they go with the minimum they have to do to be able to SHARE it with everyone.
There are so man valid reasons to CHOOSE NOT TO WARN. It's putting the ball back in the reader's court to decide if they want to proceed, to learn if it is the gennest fluff ever, or if there are, indeed, dragons lurking within.
Hm I see. I kind of need to hold these or I’ll die.
The cat is waiting for his interview and the newscaster won’t stop laughing. How rude and unprofessional

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?
It's a long walk to Mordor

This is definitely a dude living his best life.
This is TWO dudes living their best lives, and I'm so fucking happy every time I see Jack Black and Kyle Gass together because how often do you actually get to see the spotlight on two people -- one of whom is a HUGE film star at this point -- who are fat and aging and yet also still goofing and rocking and enjoying one another's company despite the wild changes life has brought their way?
Kyle has talked about the difficulty he faced in watching his partner hit it big without him, and how they communicated about that and how they balance their friendship with their respective creative pursuits when they're not working on a Tenacious D project. I respect the fuck out of him for putting in the work to maintain that friendship and I respect the fuck out of both of them for being Peak Fat Old Goof Goals
And they actually met 😭
