I’m very weird but I’m very friendly and kind I promise. Like a nervous little dog.

I am usually on mobile, I fast reblog almost everything and tag very little.

Things I post a lot of that I’m aware some people are sensitive to: surrealist memes/art, insects, ocean stuff/sea creatures, medical imagery (generally not graphic, sometimes art/historical medical educational type stuff)/discussion & philosophizing about medicine and doctors/medical procedures/etc, plague doctors, eldritch horror/Lovecraftian type monsters and creatures, discussion of religious trauma and occasional discussion of bigotry of various kinds (both uncommon)

Things I always try and tag: insects, Goncharov, flashing images/lights, needles, creepy/scary imagery (esp. blood/anything potentially body horror-y). I tag #dead secretary for pictures/art from the last leg of the MCR tour that have blood/creepy contacts/general horror imagery etc

Things I almost never post, but no promises: graphic nudity (photographed, no promises about art), graphic gore, body horror having to do with faces (exception: Phantom of the Opera), guilt trip or “reblog this or you’re a bad person” posts

Things I will absolutely never ever post, yes promises: “reblog this or you’ll be harmed in some way” posts, screamers, etc

Sometimes I am reminded of the utterly horrible urgent care physician’s assistant last year that was utterly horrible and unpleasant to me while I was Sick As A Dog and then when I went back to urgent care because I still wasn’t better THREE WEEKS LATER but went to a DIFFERENT LOCATION ON PURPOSE so I WOULSN’T HAVE TO SEE HER AGAIN and then SHE WALKED IN THE DOOR and I basically had an anxiety attack about it on the spot then she was nasty to me (patient hates doctors) again (patient is actively having an anxiety attack because it took all her strength to even come here and now she’s being faced with a new terror) took one look at my heart rate (patient is actively having an anxiety attack) shut down completely tried to send me to the ER for heart problems (PATIENT IS ACTIVELY HAVING AN ANXIETY ATTACK AND IS TERRIFIED OF YOU) and literally refused to treat or investigate the illness that had not gone away for 3 weeks in any way (patient is actively sobbing) made me sign a consent form about not going to the ER and shoved me out the door (while sobbing) and then I realize I maybe haven’t processed that whole thing entirely yet

if anyone needs a spooky podcast I truly cannot recommend The Lovecraft Investigations highly enough this place has got EVERYTHING. Incredible modern day adaptation of lovecraft. Impossibly good semi-parody of overly serious investigative podcasts. Excellent acting. Plot twists. Dark Government Agencies. Unanswered questions. Creepy radio broadcasts. Vague semi-platonic unconfessed love between the hosts. MiGo. Nyarlathotep. The Dreamer Azathoth. The Rendlesham Forest Incident. John Dee. L Ron Hubbard. Jack Parsons. The Spanish Armada. It’s like if you put all of modern day real world occult spooky history, weird government conspiracies and all of HP lovecraft into a blender. This is the *fourth* time I’ve listened to this thing now and it is STILL somehow way better than I remembered.
