it amuses me enough that i'd buy them, if they weren't $22 which is slightly too much for a joke purchase and made of pleather that will disintegrate before my eyes
well that and none of the 3 male dolls i have would fit them in either style or size...my guys are not Golden Business kind of dudes 😅
also one of them is a Souldoll Zenith with absurdly large feet, such that finding any shoes at all that he can get on is damn near impossible

90s click legs were delectable, bellybutton barbie legs were too thin and fragile for chewing and 2010s Barbie aren't even chewable which I think skews the results
I wasn’t aware that the new ones weren’t chewable! That sucks… that means tons of kids will never know the texture?!

Doctor visit stuff tw just in case
I went to the doctor for a regular annual visit and they tried to charge me $450 for it when it’s supposed to be covered by my insurance! Regular old me would’ve just paid it because I really hate, even at my older age, calling people and complaining. But not only did I call the doctor’s office, they offered to do a 3 way call to the insurance company to tell them how they coded it wrong, and now I owe much less! I still don’t think I should pay anything, but the phone rep told me that if you go to the doctor for an annual and talk to them about ANYTHING else (I was talking about anxiety in general) they code that as a separate visit! What a bunch of crooks. I wish I knew that my small chat with the doc would cost me money… he didn’t even prescribe anything!
So @sicktress introduced me to the hunk known as wonho and completely ruined my life!!!!! Look at him!!!!! I can't believe he's real.
And he's a total tease. If you couldn't tell by these pics. Anyway. Any other comments I have about him would have to be redacted.
How to spot a Recast store.
First of all, what is a recast?
A recast is an unlicensed copy of a BJD, a knockoff, a fake. Usually the dolls are bought from a legit company (sometimes not even from the recast company itself, but from supporters), a mold is made (either making a physical mold or a 3D scan) and then the dolls can be mass produced. Usually made in China, but there are exceptions to this.
I'm not going into detail here on why they are a big problem, there are tons of posts about this on the internet. They are bad, they destroy the dollmakers and artists that I love, if you're fine with that, this blog isn't for you.
This blog is for those, that want to buy legit BJDs and don't want to accidentally buy a recast, which is getting harder and harder.

Great post! The only thing I’d add is Resinsoul. They do have estimates under 60 days, and have very cheap dolls! But they are an extremely legit company. They even do resin casting for dollmakers, and cast their dolls in tons of colors.
I thought my eyes were small, turns out it was the glasses?!! I have really high prescription, like higher than anyone I’ve met, and I wore contacts for the first time while at the doc (they were free) and thought, ‘well hey this is a great way to try on new frames and actually see!!’ And my eyes were huge!! Wtf I feel so stupid for not knowing about minification
