Cool if you think gender shouldn't be brought into it, but that doesn't change the fact that certain things are marketed to certain genders and children are the most affected because they are forced into these weird gendered practices with no say.

Remember punching all those ogres on level? YEAH. We do too. On a pvp server no less (PS. if you’re that nelf rogue who nailed me twice before I called in the guild to trounce you, I hope you learned your lesson about picking on poor hapless trolls). Despite the fact we no longer have time to play we both loved the talbuk design, and had been looking for an excuse to make one for years. Our excuse? We had some time over the holidays! So as a thank-you to all our followers, customers, and supporters we’re giving this majestic beast away… no ogre-punching required.
The Specs: This guy stands roughly 13.5” tall, and is about 15.5” long from snout to tail tip. He’s completely hand made, from pattern to sculpts, hand painted & dyed to match our favorite of the talbuks (although he’s unarmored this time). He’s made using a series of ball and socket joints that give him a realistic range of movement, while being nice and sturdy so he won’t break down with re-positioning the way wire does. He can look majestic from a variety of different positions, from standing to trotting to lying down or sitting. He is an original, hand sculpted so he will not withstand being dropped and clunked around too much, fair warning! He’s meant to be enjoyed with care. No casts are being made, and there will not be another one… nor will we be offering them for sale at any point.

I did some physical therapy for my wrist this year & I haven’t had pain in 3 months now! I thought I’d share some tips I learned.
My life has been changed by incorporating those wrist stretches into my drawing breaks!
FREE STUFF!
I recently bought an enormous lot of porcupine quills from an old collection of fly tying supplies. Most of them will be used for curiosity collections in my Etsy shop but I don’t really have a use for these that have been dyed. So I thought one of you lovely folks might get some good out of them! There are hundreds of quills here, all dyed red, purple, dark green, and black.
They do have some odor to them. Nothing too foul or anything but it’s that same odd smell that so many porcupine quills seem to have. Something about how some people process them I suspect. If you put them in some baking soda or borax for a while it’ll probably take care of it. I usually give them a gentle wash in warm water with Dawn which does the trick too but I’m not sure how that would work for quills that have been dyed.

RULES/RESTRICTIONS
I can’t stress enough the importance of stretching your hands, and forearms every morning and every evening, spend 5-10 minutes going through a stretching routine. These are very easy to do, takes little time to do them. It’s VERY common in all animation studios. Conditions can slowly develop, the most typical one is Repetitive Strain Injury, it’s a prevalent condition resulting from overusing the hands to perform a repetitive task, such as typing, clicking a mouse, writing, and of course drawing. In simple medical terms, repetitive strain injury (RSI) stems from prolonged repetitive, forceful, or awkward hand movements. The result is minor damage to muscles, tendons, and nerves of the neck, shoulder, forearm, and most commonly hand and wrist, which can cause pain, weakness, or numbness. If you’re feeling some pains, tingles, weakness, or numbness in the wrist/forearm; one of the best ways to heal quickly are ‘Contrasting Baths’. What crazy voodoo am I speaking of? A couple different physiotherapists and massage therapists had recommended this technique to me several years ago, and for anyone I knew that tried it, they all say the results are fast and effective. Commonly used by carpal tunnel suffers, it’s a method of treating muscle soreness, swelling and inflammation, it’s also known as Hot/Cold Immersion Therapy. You can use the double sink in your kitchen at home, if you don’t have one, then get your hands on two very large identical bowls, it needs to be big enough to submerge your entire forearms from wrist to elbow. Fill one up with ice cold water (with a couple dozen ice cubes floating in there). The other with very warm water, not tea-kettle boiling hot water, just hot tap water, or as warm as you can handle, no sense in burning yourself of course. Have a stop watch or clock ready, and submerge your arms for 30 seconds in the hot, then switch to doing 30 sec. in the cold, and repeat a few times back and forth, 30 sec. a piece. After only a few times you’ll notice the hot water getting cooler and the cold water getting warmer, so then the technique grows to be less effective, but by then, the job is done. The idea is that the extreme heat and cold contracts and expands your blood vessels, promoting greater blood flow to circulate and flush through your arms, and increased blood flow is what aids in healing faster! Enjoy!
