Bad + Blood: End of Day
Mina having a smoke after a long day. With and without blood.
[Made a new brush explicitly for Mina’s hair.]
One Twitter too! I’d appreciate any engagement on this one, I worked hard on it!

Waking up feeling rotted from the inside out. Been having a difficult time of things lately.
how would you fix the prequel trilogy?
That's hard because it's fundamentally flawed. Sure, we could improve the dialogue, fix plot holes, etc, but those are kinda standard fixes.
I think that, assuming we can have it well written, acted and plotted, the way to get everything Lucas wanted was to add more movies.
If Lucas really wanted to show Anakin's younger years, you could've had a 'pre-prequel trilogy'. Start with Phantom Menace, end with Attack of the Clones and have a movie in between that bridges that gap.
Obviously, you need to rewrite stuff to fix some of the goofier/nonsensical things from the original, like Jar Jar or Anakin destroying a space station. But now you have another movie to spread the politics across, build up Anakin and Padme more, etc. You could've deepened the coming conspiracy more, like adding Sifo Dias and introducing Dooku earlier.
Then all of that ends with the discovery of the clones, the kicking off of the clone wars, the marriage of Anakin and Padme, etc. Heck, since you have an entire movie build Anakin up more, you can end this trilogy with Anakin's knighting.
All that leads into a 'Clone Wars' trilogy where we get more characterization. You have two entire movies where you can build up the finale. You can introduce Grievous earlier, more subtly build up Palpatine's corruption of Anakin, etc. You can use these additional movies to fix so many of the issues with the prequels just because you have the time to explain things properly.
Have the second movie deal with intrigue and sabotage that ends with the CIS' blitz and the capture of Palpatine. Then you start RotS in a similar way, in a giant battle over the planet.
Again, all of this is assuming we get competent writers. But we can still follow the same beats as the original. The story beats aren't bad. It is just the execution and the lack of explanation, which additional movies would flesh out.
Nakies and Cookies. A winning combination in Grem’s book.

Should open world games be realistically populated?
"Realistically" means what in this regard? Should Cyberpunk have 6 million NPCs?
BioWare was going to release a statue of Shepard at the start of Mass Effect 2 but removed it after backlash from people saying how offensive it is to display a dead woman.
But she literally dies at the start of ME2. It's, like, one of the most memorable moments in the franchise.
no matter how cool we try to act every single one of us has had a moment where some blog we looked up to followed us back and we felt for a second like we truly made it

Do you think phantom liberty, if it majorly reworks the game to be more accurate to the marketing material, should be free or reduced price for those players that preordered. To me, it seems very scummy to not deliver on advertising and then try to double dip with a dlc.
From what I'm being told, the game itself is being updated for free to coincide with the DLC. Supposedly, the changes include:
- Completely redone perks and skills
- Completely rebuilt enemy and friendly AI
- New Cyberware system
- New Vehicle Combat
- New Police System
- New Weaponized Vehicles and Vehicle Combat
- New Relic skill tree found by exploring dog town
- Vehicles are bought through a website rather than from fixers
- Car Chases
- UI and UX completely redone
- New Courier missions
- You can hack cars to steal them
- Dynamic Faction Fights in the Open World
- Redone Loot and Difficulty
- New enemy variety
If that's the case, that's a pretty solid rework. It, of course, has come very late. But if this update and the DLC are good, it might buy some good will back from me.
But for that, the DLC will NEED to be big (Blood and Wine big) and feature more RPG elements. It might give me hope that Cyberpunk 2 might actually be an RPG and worth buying.
Should lighting in videogames be more realistic to the point that you can't see at night without a light source?
No, lighting should be (like everything else) stylized in a way that is best for the game.
RELEASE THE R RATED VERSION YOU COWARDS
Apparently (pitch of salt) Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is meant to overhaul the base game.
That would explain the long development time. I hope it does and turns it into more of an RPG.
Is the DLC overhauling the game or will they overhaul the entire game in conjunction with the DLC? Basically, is the overhaul for all players or just people who buy PL?
How would Grem Luck protect Grem if she falls?
Gremlin luck contrives a reason for her safety. She might get bumped or a little bruised, but she won't be seriously hurt.
If she falls down a set of stairs, she'll just happen to tumble in the right way that she suffers no real injury.
