Have you ever seen a black person with naturally red hair? Stop fucking taking characters who have ‘pale white red head’ as their defining feature and casting black women as them, it will always cause strife and look wrong. That is not racist either, its just a fact. Pick someone who remotely looks like the character they are representing.

Same goes for WHITEWASHING (don’t fucking do it, it’s stupid) but that doesn’t happen much right now because that’d be RACIST!

There are plenty of black people with natural red hair, literally my own cousins have red hair and freckles that’s NATURAL for them. Just because your world view is so skewed because you live in areas that see the same one black person in your neighborhood doesn’t mean that black people with red hair & freckles don’t exist.

People with red hair aren’t oppressed or persecuted because they are consistently represented in media esp in film. Black people are not and it is not black peoples fault that there is a lack or representation for us. You need to get a grip, log out of tumblr and explore the world that isn’t yours.
