Earth and Fire
Kb asked me to draw the infamous Paul scene and while we decided on another sketch, I couldnt resist sharing because IF I HAD TO SUFFER, SO HAVE YOU (OH, OOOOUCH MY HEART)
Blight
[Image Description: Painted fanart of Laerryn Coramar-Seelie. She is standing in the center of the image, holding her hand out to the viewer. Black ichor pours from her hand in the form of the blight spell. Behind her are several scenes, all related to the tree of names in the center. The tree is splitting down the middle, and red leaves spill wildly out of the top. A pair of eyes glow from the middle of the leaves, and near the split is a silhouette of Asmodeus. In the upper left, Evandrin and a toy boat can be seen in the branches. In the lower left, Loquatius and Patia are pierced by the tree. Patia is also being consumed by the tree. On the right, Laerryn and Nydas are seen from behind, looking into a bright light webbed by tree limbs. End description.]
“I didn’t do anything wrong”
Zerxus and Tempus ✨
Calamity is such an incredible mini series and Zerxus’ story within it stands out to me as one of my favourites, and I wanted to draw something special for it
Physically I might be here but mentally I’m thinking about how sometimes Cerrit must forget that the Ring of Brass’ telepathic bond isn’t there anymore.
A gryphon made of stars
"The last thing you see as your body begins to immolate and burn is a gryphon made of stars… bearing on its back a young boy holding a journal."
“The flames guttered around Abigail Pent (…) in that blazing blue corona her eyes were dark and liquid and—feral. The House of the Fifth always skinned itself over with such airs of civilisation, with so many manners and niceties, but they were spirit-talkers, and speakers to the dead. And the dead were savage.”
Image ID: A drawing of Abigail Pent from the waist up. She has light skin, long brown hair and she has her mouth open in shock, and her eyes are glowing blue and fierce. From her eyes on either side shoot out two blue thin lines of light. She has her hands outstretched and around both of them is a growing amorphous light of green-blue. She is wearing a brown tunic and a golden cloak above that which is embroidered in gold thread at the edge. Her brown hair is messily flying all about her.
“I have only known darkness for so long, and even before that, no one has shown me kindness…”
“That’s going to change, and that’s a damn shame.”
I cannot conceive a universe without you in it
I’M CROOKED BUT UPRIGHT!
The House of the Fifth always skinned itself over with such airs of civilization, with so many manners and niceties, but they were spirit-talkers, and speakers to the dead. And the dead were savage.
Oh such sweet, sweet corruption...
I finished Gideon the ninth a few days ago and it was pretty damn good.
