at every seder i've been to there's always banging on the table with a fist every time someone says "with a mighty hand" and holding out/raising an arm whenever someone says "and an outstretched arm"
hi everyone!!! this year i want to do something fun for pesach on this blog. if u want, send asks or submissions my way about your families’ own personal pesach traditions/minhagim or any new traditions you have created ❤️
Hoo boy, are there a lot XD
1. Everyone in my family says Ma Nishtana, not just the youngest. This means that seder takes forever XD
2. I have a book of Ma Nishtana in 300 languages and every year we go through it and say Ma Nishtana in as many languages as we can before we get tired and move on
3. For Chad Gadya, we do sound effects for each stanza (goat bleat, meow, woof, etc)
4. I dress up as Eliyahu HaNavi, sneak outside, and knock on the door
5. We do hand motions and dances for Echad MiYodea, and by that point we're all a bit tipsy and overtired so it's a blast (we also do it in English and it's even better) [AND ONE IS HASHEM, ONE IS HASHEM, ONE IS HASHEEMMMMMMMMMMM! On the Heavens and the Earth, I said ah-oo-ah, oo-ah-ah, I said ah-oo-ah, oo-ah-ah....]
6. We of course do the tune "row row your boat" for Bechol Do VaDor and add a few more lines XD. [In every generation a person must believe; that Hashem will take us out of Galut speedily; row row your boat, gently down the steam; throw your brothers off the boat and listen to them scream XD]
7. We make a big show of being all dramatic eating the maror
8. Shouting PESACH MATZAH MAROR every time it comes up
9. Bringing out all our preschool Haggadahs
10. Singing "another one bites the dust" whenever another person falls asleep
