After all these years, the shanty town from Popeye (1980) is still there. Now one of the major tourist attractions in Malta, the “Popeye Village” (Sweethaven in the film) has shows, films, weddings, boat trips, concerts, and more.
Not bad for a film that flopped. (The film is fun though.)
