i’ve always been obsessed with how bright this scene is. so aesthetically pleasing. the pacing and the score make it one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite films.

Apparently Chatsworth House, the location for Pemberley House, still has Darcy’s bust in their Sculpture Gallery. In the book, Lizzie comes across a portrait of Darcy, but Joe Wright changed it to a bust in order to take advantage of Chatsworth’s impressive sculpture collection.
