long post that is just train of thought about fashion and drow and stuff lol
thinking about drow stuff.....(lolthite drow) like....menzo/udadrow society is so insanely intricate about etiquette and layers of unspoken social ques that are deadly to miss. its RIFE w that aristocratic and social intrigue and political scheming mixed in with cult rituals, body horror- and my point is i wanna see the most wild unwearable fashion ever.
i want their hairstyles to reflect (the visual dictionary did good with this imo, ESPCIALLY the baenres) the hours of attendants slaving over (some quite literally) the intricate braids into spiderweb patterns. the high concept formal wear. live spiders as accessories. everything is so over the top becuase everything is a facade or a power play, or a message to another family. the comics were obviously not great in many areas but someone else was pointing out that just like.....loose hair for nobles?? what is this?? i wanna see the styles indictive of station and house. i wanna see more than just like, sexy witch costume dress with slits and a weird armour thing. i dont even mind sexualized stuff thats part of it too but put the effort in!!!! make it intricate and weird and cool and idk where im going w this i just love weird high fashion and stuff and I WANT CAMP
