Be thankful you have competent parents. Be thankful you have parents who don’t parentify you. Be thankful you have parents who understand you, or at least try their hardest to. Be thankful you have parents who prioritize you and not just say they do. You can’t imagine how mind, body, and soul crushing it is to not have that.

They say when your life reaches its hardest point, that's when you're about to have major breakthroughs. If that's true, my family and I are about to receive everything good we've ever wanted.
