All we ever want is to be seen. For someone to see you, all of you, your edges and your cracks and your broken pieces and to accept them. To not love you despite your edges and cracks and broken pieces but because of them. Because those are the parts of you that make you, you. And finally you saw me. You saw my rough edges, the cracks in my heart, and the broken pieces in my past and I let you in. But I wasn’t enough. All anyone ever wants is to be seen but what do you do when they finally see you, but they don’t like what they see.
