Looking back at it now – as a 28-year-old in 2022 where there's been a lot of discourse about sexualizing fictional minors (and real ones obviously, that should go without saying) – that comic just makes me feel gross now. Even if it's "heavily implied" and not explicit. idk dude.
And there are so many other posts, reblogs, and tags sprinkled all over my blog just like that, because apparently that was Peak Humor in the 2010's and no one thought twice about it (as far as I know).
Like, I don't wanna hop on the whole "fiction vs. reality" debate right now (it's exhausting and no one really wins after these arguments), but that's how I've been feeling about this kind of stuff lately. Hopefully that makes sense.
