Hi! Happy New Year!! Hope you are doing well. ♥️ Will you have a VC calendar coming out this year?

Happy New Year! ♥️ I've already answered that on my art blog, but let's say that since I last said: "yeah, maybe", things became a bit more optimistic - I've made some progress with new artworks, so fingers crossed!

Broke: vampires are vulnerable to the trappings of Christianity only, particularly Catholicism, no matter how dubiously applied. (See: Van Helsing's Communion wafer grouting).

Woke: vampires are vulnerable to sincere faith of all kinds, and atheist vampire-hunters need to believe very strongly in the Power of Friendship or their love of Star Trek to get by.

Bespoke: vampires are vulnerable to the faith that they followed when they were alive, and hunters tracking down an ancient vampire are obliged to learn about Neo-Babylonian theology or Middle Palaeolithic bear cults.

No no you don't understand! I want to watch this show/movie, read this book, listen to this podcast, etc.! But I must be in the right mindset and the exact head space to begin, or I just can't!

Hello, I used to follow/chat with you on here a few years ago. At one point I wiped and deleted my tumblr because of mental health stuff, but I made a new one under a new url just to follow my favourite people and keep supporting them silently. I’ve been toying with the idea of being active on here again lately, I made a post but I don’t even have any followers so I don’t think anyone will see it. I feel quite silly. I wanted to ask: how are you? And how’s tumblr lately/what’s changed? Do you happen to have any advice for how to (re)connect with people?

Hi anon :) welcome back! I'm fine, busy, working a lot, not posting much. I don't really know what's changed on tumblr, I don't pay much attention to it :') In regards to reconnecting: I say just go for it. Write to people, re-introduce yourself, reach out without expectations and ready to fail in a few cases. In most cases it should work just fine. Most people don't give a damn about gaps in communication and will happily dive right back in. Don't hide! good luck!

I have a question: do you sell your art anywhere? Is it possible for me to buy your work as water bottle stickers or something?

hi, I still have Redbubble though I don't really update it and I also have Teepublic which I prefer to use but also don't really update unless requested. So if you want to get some particular artwork(s) as a particular product, you can ask me to upload it for you. I can also make a thing through Gooten and link it to Etsy but that's only in the case of more people wanting the same thing with the same art. hope that helps ^^

the worst part about reading ancient roman philosophy is that sometimes you’ll read something expressly saying that people shouldn’t do something that you do frequently and it’s like diogenes threw a plucked chicken at you from 2000 years ago

me: *gets scared that i’m wasting my life* me: i’m gonna deal with this feeling by taking a long nap in the middle of the day

So I've seen Glass Onion twice already and I've been thinking. Since we are already talking about Cassandra and Helen being a reference to ancient times... And there is a ruined "ancient temple" facade right there behind the dinner table in Miles' living room... Maybe the thing that I'm thinking is not a coincidence.

There was a also guy in ancient Greek history who wanted his name to be remembered forever.

And you know what he did to achieve that?

He burned down the biggest, most famous temple at the time, the temple of Artemis in Ephesus.

I rest my case.
