Yet another healthy recipe! I made this 10 seconds ago and I am in LOVE so I thought I’d share it.
Low-Calorie Protein Ice Cream
Halo top has nothing on me
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 frozen Mango
- 1/2 cup milk of choice (the cals are counted with full fat milk, which is 75 cals for this amount. To add your milk, subtract 75 cals and add the cals for 1/2 cup of yours)
- 10 grams protein powder (I use Quest Multi-Purpose)
Instructions:
- Add milk and fruit to a food processor. Blend until smooth. You will have to stir, as it is quite thick.
- Add protein powder and milk for anther 15 seconds or until incorporated.
- OPTIONAL: add 0 cal sweetener. I didn’t.
Calories:
- Mango - 23 cals
- Blueberries - 40 cals
- Milk - 75 cals
- Protein Powder - 36 cals
Total: 172 calories
