World’s Oldest Cat At Age 26 Corduroy Still Young At Heart

Corduroy, a striped cat with a long fur coat, holds the Guinness World Record for being the world’s oldest cat at the age of 26. His owner Reed Okura, adopted him from a shelter when in 1989 when she was just 7 years old. The pesioner-like half Maine Coon cat  is still energetic and lively and enjoys basking in the sun outdoors, jumping up and down onto counters and bed, but still acts like a youngster -  the mellow tempered Corduroy loves attention and snuggling with his owner too.
