I clicked into this show anticipating 2 hot super powered lawyers. i did not, however, think i was going to reopen a years old wound thinking about how much Tony Stark meant to Bruce. Tony Stark-the first one to treat Bruce like a human being and not an unstable weapon. Tony Stark-the first person Bruce met who could really-REALLY-appreciate his mind and even bounce his thoughts off of.

Tony Stark-the person who, apparently, flew Bruce out to a solitary island to build a place that was actually safe to live and not be afraid. Who didn’t only pay for this paradise, but actually s t a y and keep Bruce company. And the billionaire who would do something as simple and almost child-like and intimate and so, so, incredibly meaningful as /writing his initials/ into the wood right along side Bruce’s.

I was starting this show for joy, and I watched it all with tears.

Also re: the tags on my last post, in MY supernatural finale after Sam dies that’s when we see heaven for the first time and that Dean is waiting for him and they start off on the road, reliving good memories together. None of this dad lives down the road let’s visit shit. At first I think they remember everything they know about heaven and where they are and that they’re dead. And they talk all about Sam’s life (hunting) after Dean died, but their heaven is probably a mix of memories of not hunting times, just being on the road, living together, etc. but also hunting, because it’s so core to them. But like, the hunts always go well, and nobody dies except the monster, who is clear cut every time. So like they get lost in their own tangled backroads of fireworks and eggnog and revisionist memories that they share together until it all blends together and they forget everything else. I’m rambling but the point is maybe that THAT is Sam and Dean’s true heaven in my mind, forgetting about everything but doing what they do together.
