There are two configurations available: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for $599 and another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $679. The storage of both models can be expanded via microSD, and the phone features a modular design that can be easily disassembled using a standard Phillips #00 screwdriver to replace broken components. It also has an IP54 rating, meaning the device is protected against dust and water sprays.

The Murena Fairphone 4 will ship to US customers with 5G and dual SIM support, a removable 3905mAh battery, a 48-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide, and a 25-megapixel selfie camera. The phones will be available to order exclusively from Murena’s webstore starting today.

I've been looking at getting one of these to replace my current phone. It'll break my habit of always passing my old phone to a relative, but I can live with that if it means I can fix the damned thing myself. Comparable price to a mid-range/lower high-end phone. It is, as far as I can see, the only smartphone that has ever achieved a 10/10 score for repairability in iFixit. Most don't get more than a 4 or 5, and only Nokias consistently get more than a 7. You can replace the cameras, the screen, the battery, the motherboard, the USB port, the speakers, the microphone, the case. All of it. If you want to upgrade, or if any one of those parts breaks? You don't have to buy a whole new phone. You just buy a replacement part, grab your little screwdriver, and swap the bits out. All without soldering skills, all without specialist technical knowledge.

They also make over-ear headphones that are similarly modular. Any one piece in it breaks, you can just fix it yourself. They used to do earbuds, but due to the size they're not self-repairable. But they still sell single earbuds for the folks who bought them, so they don't have to buy a whole new set to replace one lost or broken bud. They support the outdated hardware for quite a while. They're still selling replacement cables for the wired earbuds they stopped making years ago.

The operating system it uses for the US is /e/OS - it's a fork of Android, it just has all the Google stuff removed by default. Meaning you can download those apps if you want, or stay out of the Google ecosystem. (If you want a totally open-source free app library, look into F-Droid).

And if you need a laptop, there's the Framework. Same philosophy as the Fairphone. 10/10 repairability score on iFixit. You want to upgrade the CPU? Just replace one part of the modular mainboard unit. WiFi busted? Replace the card. RAM too low? Buy a new stick. Hinge busted? Grab a new one. Just about every individual component you might want to replace, whether for repair or upgrade, is replaceable using standard, easily available T5 and PH0 screwdrivers.

Dungeon Meshi - Laios & Falin

Tags by @daezedglownut "#I really took the whole ‘Laios is autistic’ thing fandom kept saying with a pinch of salt#bc I’ve been burned before lol#except this is like Star Trek TOS#the hype really WAS right for once lmao#I don’t trust fandom bc 98% of it is projection and character assassination#but damn if the dungeon meshi fandom ain’t spitting straight facts with this big blond man#that whole interaction with Shuro was like a gut punch is2fg#so beautifully illustrated and so relatable it hurt"

Laios is the most explicitly autistic character I've seen in a show that isn't specifically about "autism". The author has made a point to show he even has issues with textures in extras, his fight with Shuro pretty much sealed it for me that it was intentional.

I love Laios because it's not just that "it happens" he's autistic, both his strengths and struggles are related to his autism, its a major part of his character and its extremely well written, even if the word "autism" is never actually said.

Having internet friends is an experience. Did you eat today? I can't believe your sister hasn't apologized yet, what a bitch. Drink a glass of water right now. Want to see a cat picture? I love you. I know you better than your parents. I don't know your name. I'm having a rough day, can you talk to me about your favorite videogame? I love you. Good morning means good night means good afternoon means go to sleep. Here's a doodle I made in class. I'm stealing your clothes as we speak, they're so pretty. I love you. I love your pet. What does your hair look like? I'd love to see that weird leaf. I love you. I'm making you your favorite food. Thank you for holding my secrets for me. I love you. We're having a coffee date. I love you. I'm giving you a screen-sized hug. I love you. I love you. I love you.

Holy shit happy 100k to this post. I couldn't be who i am without falling a little in love with you every day. I'm glad you're all still online.

In the fall in the Pacific Northwest, you might find this very tiny dragon jealously guarding its hoard of fungus in the old growth forests

My biggest risograph to date, 11 x 17"! The colors almost hurt to look at irl :') I love this medium

what you have to understand about dungeon meshi is that the entire conflict basically boils down to "every character is autistic but in ways that clash so catastrophically horribly that everyone thinks everyone else is a nuclear-level threat"

Anonymous asked:

This is a weird ass question but I'm on my period and I'm wondering do dungeon meshi women have periods? Do different races not have periods? Like I never saw it getting mentioned

-🐰anon

Well the short answer is: Probably? Considering the biology in dungeon meshi seem really similar to our own world's the other option would be an estrous cycle like other mammals have. (That's also what omegaverse's omega heats is based on btw). The longer answer is that stories tend to just not mention bodily function in favor of staying in focus, dungeon meshi is an exception in this aspect cause it's 1 about eating 2 about biology. So they take the time to show every meal they have AND made a point to talk about how pooping in the dungeon works at least once. Plus this amazing extra.

Talking about menstrual cycles might have been a step too far for an adventure manga thought since it tends to be considered a taboo or yucky (even tho it shouldn't) I don't doubt Ryoko Kui has thought about it tho.

If you're interested here's a random article I found that shows some old timey menstrual products (I only skimmed thru it, I remembered seeing some of those old products before and wanted to see them again)

Tom Holland does Rihanna’s “Umbrella” on Lip Sync Battle

I’m literally zendaya reacting like he didn’t have to go that hard and yet..

Must always reblog

Sometimes you just need to watch again. Instant serotonin.

I love that his only regret about this is him not having done the routine in heels.

I wonder if this is what sealed the deal for Zendaya. Cause I get it.

When I WATCHED this one on tv, y'all!!!!! I loved watching LL’s reaction! I don’t think ANYONE was prepared for it, cuz I know I wasn’t.

And the young man does ballet!!!

The key thing is he NAILS the routine and does it seriously, it’s not a joke choice. He does it with passion.

Completely agree with the above comment. This is what makes it so much better than some of the other performances that people consider good. (I’m particularly thinking of Channing Tatum’s performance here.)

Tom Holland didn’t seem like he was dressing in women’s clothes and dancing like a woman as a lighthearted gag done for laughs. Even if that’s what he intended (I have no idea), once he was out there on that stage, he played it seriously. He went out there and delivered a serious performance. It was intense, and he injected his legitimate (not exaggerated for laughs) sex appeal into the performance.

Literally every time I watch this I appreciate it more. More comments or more perspective or I just notice something else I didn’t before.

I will never not reblog this.

imagine being the choreographer for the show

you’re used to dealing with people like chrissy teigan and serena williams, game for it sure but 0 dance training or experience and not really a performer (although i’ve still not figured out what it is chrissy teigan actually does so many I’m wrong about that? not important)

and then this guy comes up to you and says hey, i’m gonna be on the show. i went to stage school so i have literally no shame or performance anxiety, i’m a trained dancer in ballet tap and modern, i was billy elliot on the west end so you don’t have to worry about me not remembering the routine, and i’m in the best shape of my life because i’m spiderman right now, literally hit me with your absolutely worst i can take it

if i’d been them i’d have fucking burst into tears on the spot

painfully true

Imagine saying "where sweets are baked, not bought" about the decade that invented blue raspberry

This is so funny. The 90s had the most absolutely heinous hyper processed candies. Unchallenged champion of checkout counter bullshit.

We were obsessed with making every sweet a powder, a goo, novelty shaped, or unbearably sour. Often some combination of the above. 90s sweets were utterly ridiculous and it was fantastic.
